Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
At Natyabazaar, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your options for cancellations, returns, and refunds in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and our commitment to fair marketplace practices.
2. Order Cancellations
2.1 Cancellation by the Customer
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement provided the order has not yet been dispatched by the Vendor.
- To cancel, go to My Orders in your account and select "Cancel Order", or email hello@natyabazaar.com with your order number.
- Made-to-order / custom items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced. The product page will indicate the applicable cancellation window.
- Once an order is dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. You may initiate a return after delivery in accordance with Section 3.
2.2 Cancellation by Natyabazaar or Vendor
We reserve the right to cancel orders in the following circumstances:
- Product is out of stock or no longer available.
- Pricing or listing error is identified after order placement.
- Suspected fraudulent activity or violation of our Terms & Conditions.
- Delivery to the specified address is not possible.
In all such cases, a full refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
3. Returns
3.1 Eligible for Return
A return request must be raised within 7 days of delivery. Items eligible for return:
- Item received is significantly different from the product description or images.
- Item is defective, damaged, or of poor quality.
- Wrong item delivered.
- Item is incomplete (missing parts or accessories as listed).
3.2 Not Eligible for Return
- Items returned after 7 days of delivery.
- Custom-made, bespoke, or personalised items (e.g., costumes stitched to your measurements), unless defective.
- Perishable items or consumables that have been opened.
- Items that have been used, washed, altered, or are not in their original condition with original packaging, tags, and accessories.
- Items listed as "non-returnable" on the product page (clearly marked at the time of purchase).
3.3 How to Initiate a Return
- Email hello@natyabazaar.com or use the Contact page within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number, item(s) to be returned, reason for return, and clear photographs showing the issue (required for defective or wrong-item claims).
- Our team will review your request within 2 business days and advise on the return process.
- Once approved, you will receive a return shipping label or instructions. Please use the original packaging where possible.
- The return shipment must be dispatched within 5 days of receiving the return approval.
4. Refunds
4.1 Refund Timelines
Once we receive and inspect the returned item (typically 2–3 business days after receipt), we will process the refund as follows:

Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. If your refund is delayed beyond the stated period, please contact your bank first and then reach out to us.
4.2 Shipping Charges for Returns
- If the return is due to our error (defective item, wrong item, or damaged in transit), we bear the return shipping cost.
- If the return is due to a change of mind (where applicable), the return shipping cost is borne by the customer and deducted from the refund.
4.3 Partial Refunds
In certain cases, a partial refund may be issued — for example, if only part of a multi-item order is returned, or if an item is returned in a condition that reduces its resale value.
4.4 Cancellation Refunds
For orders cancelled within the eligible window (Section 2.1), the full order amount — including any shipping charges paid — will be refunded within 5–7 business days.
5. Live Bazaar Orders
Orders placed during a Live Bazaar session are treated identically to regular marketplace orders and are subject to the same cancellation and return timelines above. If you experienced a technical issue that resulted in a duplicate charge or incorrect order during a live session, please contact us immediately at hello@natyabazaar.com.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Live Bazaar vendor streaming plan subscription fees (once activated).
- Convenience fees and payment gateway charges (where applicable).
- Any product clearly marked as "non-returnable" on its product page at the time of purchase.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with the resolution of a return or refund request, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer:

You may also seek redressal through the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or relevant State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
